KoKo was an amazing crochet instructor! She taught the foundations of crochet in a way that was easy for the kids to understand and jumped in to help whenever someone was struggling. She also incorporated thought-provoking questions that encouraged the students to work through challenges and appreciate the value of creative hobbies as a form of self-expression. My daughter left with a brand-new love for crochet, she spent hours at home afterward continuing to create! We drove almost an hour to attend this class, and it was absolutely worth it. I truly hope more sessions are offered in the future, maybe closer to the Richmond area, but even if not, we?ll definitely make the drive again!

    INSTRUCTORS
    Nafisa
    Hi,

I am Nafisa Kachwala and I started Crocheting in my school days in India when we were encouraged to take up skill classes as co curricular activities. Then after graduation and post-graduation , pursuing a career, marriage, children etc it took a backseat. Post retirement, I took up my passion for the arts and crafts once again and starting doing projects again for family and friends.
Besides crocheting, I can also knit , sew and embroider. All these crafts keep me busy and mentally creative and active. By the way, I was a teacher for 22 years and administrator in schools for 10 years. Thus teaching techniques come easily to me . Looking forward to a healthy teaching learning experience.

Nafisa is available for private bookings
